ABOUT
I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My dad said I was drawing on the walls at home aged 4!
These drawings are from when I was about 10. Cowboy film star John Wayne, footballer Bobby Charlton, and Captain Scarlet from the Gerry Anderson TV series.

I studied Graphic Design at Bath Academy of Art, and subsequently became a freelance illustrator, producing artwork for a wide variety magazines, books, and posters.
Examples, left to right: Marilyn (Athena Poster), The Beatles Who's Who (Aurum Press), Computer & Video Games Magazine.

Later I began writing and illustrating Children's Books, published in the UK, USA, Europe, Asia & Australia. Cowgirl Rosie (Orchard Books), Blanche & Rocky (Hodder Children's Books), and Lily and the Magical Moonbeam (Orchard Books), have also been shown on the BBC TV programme Tikkabilla.

I've had a lifelong interest in football, and over the years I've contributed illustrations to Shoot!, World Soccer, Soccerstars, and the Football Association. More recently my work has appeared in Match of the Day magazine, and Inside United magazine.

Continuing the football theme, I co-created Grin the Net, a strip that ran in The Sun newspaper for a couple of years. A second strip Outside The Box currently appears weekly in Nuts magazine.

I also have an interest in the wider art world, my work has been reviewed by Sir Roy Strong, and included in exhibitions at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, and the Mall Gallery in London. I produce paintings for sale, mainly pop art, portraits, and watercolours.
